Gulu's House, since 2007
Gulu's house opened in 2007 after the French chef from Brittany, Gregory le Cloarec had the urge to take up the ambitious challenge of making Taiwaners discover authentic French cuisine.
He had to face prejudices and misunderstandings of the locals, but with a lot of hard work and perseverance, Gulu's house became a reference in Taichung and even in Taiwan where he was chosen to take part in the international event "Taste of France "for 3 consecutive years as well as various television programs and other articles in local newspapers.
The restaurant is now held by the successor of Gregory, Arthur a young French chef who after working for him decided to take over the business. The concept remains the same, however, traditional cuisine, homemade, at very affordable prices in a warm and pleasant.
